This
is California State University Northridge Library which has all stuff for
studying and has a good environment for studying (Heart of the university). The
space in front of the CSUN Library represents quietness and the need to learn
more from the library. It is a symbol of the brain’s ability to continue
absorbing more information. The library is the symbolical source of knowledge in
the CSUN and the space in front of the building is a symbol of the ever spacious
ability of the brain to take in more academic information. The purpose of the
building was to provide students of CSUN with a place where they can access learning
resources within the campus. The design allows for spacious compartments where
students can interact and exchange ideas depending on their learning
experiences on their respective courses. When I visited the library for the
first time, it was a nice feeling and it made me have the need to visit it
frequently because of the abundant books and other learning resources. The
visit elicited an anxious feeling concerning the amount of books and the other
learning resources.
This
is SRS which is CSUN gym for student`s entertainment which is free for student
and CSUN members. The space symbolizes the need for students and CSUN staff members
to ensure physical fitness while striving for academic excellence. The design
and location of the building looks sporty and strategic respectively. The
design and the color make it possible for students within the campus to distinguish
it from the lecture halls and other learning-related buildings. After visiting
the SRS, I felt so good that I decided to visit it regularly for site seeing
and physical exercise.
This
is Jacaranda Hall which is CSUN engineering building which has all engineering
departments and classes with equipment that all engineer needs. The space
represents scientific and the need for society to get benefits from the guys
over there. The design and location of the JD is reflects the importance essence
inside it. The contemporary uses of colors in this building make it special
from other CSUN buildings. When I went there for first engineering class, I
felt with determination and assertiveness to be graduated.
